This is the worst store I have ever shopped in.It is staffed with immature young adults who do not know anything about customer service.
Instead they cling to their no receipt no return policy which is amenable depending on the situation. However, no exceptions were made for this disabled person who tried to return shoes in the original box. They cannot scan your credit card as proof of payment without a receipt because their technology is antiquated. They cannot make decisions about exceptions because they do not call their district manager.
They cannot follow company rules because they do not read the manual. However, they can speak to you in a hostile manner proclaiming that no receipt policy is the end all and be all of solutions. They can repeatedly tell you they will lose their job. What a horrid company to keep this over the employee's head, huh?
They video you on their private cell phone and gang up on you when you refuse to use a pen kept behind the manager's ear, who is not really a manager - another lie. They never heard of germs or lice, They can yell repeatedly 5 times or more, 'it's only a pen". They know how to call mall security for a situated they created, escalated, and called no one in the company for advice. Report it to the company and all you get are words with no action.
They get to keep their jobs after this acting out episode.
Do yourself a favor, go to any other shoe store!I agree with the other pissed consumers, Shoe Dept Encore....SUCKS!
